Cabins Near Zion
We do not have a dedicated cabin category, and no property near Zion is reviewed here purely as a cabin rental. What we do have is five properties whose descriptions include cabins, alongside other room types. This page lays out honestly what each offers.
What We Can and Cannot Tell You
Cabins are one option among several at each of these places, not the whole business. Only Zion Lodge (Yelp 3.7 from 200 reviews) and Zion Canyon Campground & RV Resort (Yelp 3.3 from 163 reviews) have Yelp ratings in our notes; the two ranch resorts and Zion River Resort have none, so we do not rank them. We also do not list how many cabins each place has or what is inside them.
That means the most useful step after picking a property is to ask it directly what its cabins include, and how they differ from the other rooms. If you want a full cabin-only rental, our notes do not cover that, and it is worth searching current listings.
Properties That Offer Cabins
We may earn a commission if you book through these links, at no extra cost to you. Our write-ups come first; we never rank a property by what it pays. How this works.
Zion Lodge
$$$Cabins, motel rooms, and suites inside the park, with an on-site restaurant; book months ahead.
Zion Mountain Ranch
$$$Log cabins on a working ranch on Highway 9 near the east entrance, with grazing bison and the Cordwood restaurant.
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
$$$Cabins plus glamping tents and covered wagons on the high east rim, with pools and on-site activities.
Zion River Resort
$$A $$ Virgin resort on the Virgin River offering cabins and tent sites alongside its full-hookup RV sites, plus a pool.
Zion Canyon Campground & RV Resort
$A few cabins sit alongside the tent and RV sites at this Springdale campground, which has river access.
Matching a Cabin to Your Trip
- Inside the park: Zion Lodge offers cabins, motel rooms and suites, and is the only lodging inside Zion. Our card advises booking months in advance.
- Springdale, on a budget: Zion Canyon Campground & RV Resort is tagged $ and has a few cabins, right on the Virgin River.
- The east side: Zion Mountain Ranch has log cabins near the east entrance, and Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort has cabins on the high east rim, which its card calls the park's quieter, cooler east side.
- West of the park: Zion River Resort in Virgin has cabins and tent sites alongside RV hookups. See our Virgin guide.
Other Places to Look
If cabins are not a must, the other lodging pages may fit better. Our glamping guide covers tents, wagons and Airstreams, and our family stays page lists properties with kitchens and pools. The complete list is on the main lodging guide.
